PC Desktop and Laptop Repairs
For simple problems that perhaps do not require a visit, support can be offered either over a private messaging service or over a private computer session in which I can control your PC remotely (you will need some software on your machine to facilitate this).
All other problems are generally repairable, from broken screens on laptops, new motherboards, other new hardware repairs and maintenance.
Software Rebuilds
If you have an old machine or even just a defunct machine, be it a laptop or a desktop, I can rebuild your machine for you whilst saving your important information from the disk prior to the rebuild, and then saving this onto the new rebuild.
The rebuild can either be a Windows operating system you have already or even trying out some free (Open Source) software under the Linux umbrella (perhaps something like Ubuntu, SuSe, Gentoo, Red Hat or Puppy Linux). These 'free' systems essentially operate exactly the same way as Windows but are free and are generally considered to be faster. Almost 90% of all software is also available for these systems and is generally 'free'.
Upgrades
If you want an honest opinion of the specification of your machine, I will do that and advise, where necessary, any upgrades which will help your system to be faster and/or more efficient. It could be anything from a bigger hard disk to more RAM (memory).
I can also advise on backup systems from simple USB storage to full backup disks.
