The Repair Process
A lot of people ask me what the process is for getting their device repaired, so I thought I would try to detail it here.
As I work from home (to keep my costs down!), you generally need to get your device to me and that means arranging to drop by my house and give me your device. I say 'arange' but its really just about knowing roughly when you might turn up. I am not always in as I do lots of IT support work too, but I am generally around.
So, drop off and collect is the 'normal' way I do things.
But, I will collect and delivery for either FREE or a very small additional charge, depending on where you are. If you are in Fetcham, Bookham, Ashtead or Leatherhead, I will collect and deliver for free.
Any further afield then there is a charge - from £5 to £10 depending on your location.
You can also send me your items in the post. Please send items Registered Post or something similar so that you have proof of posting and also proof of delivery. That way you can claim for your item if it is lost. The device will be repaired within 24 hours and put back in the post (Registered) within 36 hours. For address details see the contact page.
All postal repairs carry an additional charge of £5 (per device and does not include laptops)
